COMPLICATIONS OF RESPIRATORY TRACT DISEASES AFTER COVID-19, THEIR TREATMENT AND PREVENTION: THE ROLE OF RATIONAL NUTRITION

Akhunjonova Kh.A. - Central Asian Medical University Uzbekistan

Resume

Chronic respiratory diseases and their long-term complications arising from the COVID-19 pandemic remain one of the pressing issues in modern medicine. The SARS-CoV-2 virus primarily damages alveolar structures, leading to interstitial fibrosis and chronic inflammation. In such cases, rational nutrition strengthens the immune response and stimulates cell regeneration, serving as an effective means to alleviate pathological processes. This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the clinical features of post-COVID respiratory pathologies and the pathophysiological foundations of rational nutrition. The findings scientifically confirm the high therapeutic value of nutrition in the prevention and treatment of respiratory tract diseases.

Keywords: acute respiratory syndrome, diffuse inflammation, alveolar edema, pneumonia, C-reactive protein, interstitial infiltrate, postinflammatory fibrosis.
