Ishankulova D.K. - Samarkand State Medical University
Resume
The article discusses the key directions in the development of rehabilitation pulmonology. It emphasizes the importance of a staged system for restoring patients with bronchopulmonary diseases, which includes post-hospital, outpatient (dispensary-polyclinic), and sanatorium stages. The roles of physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, medical nutrition, climate and balneotherapy are analyzed, along with methods of functional diagnostics and individualization of treatment processes depending on the phases of the disease. Special attention is given to sanatorium-resort rehabilitation, the improvement of patient selection criteria, and the assessment of treatment outcomes.
Keywords: pulmonary rehabilitation; bronchopulmonary diseases; staged system; sanatorium-resort treatment; physiotherapy; therapeutic exercise; aerosol therapy; climatotherapy; balneotherapy; psychotherapy; individualized treatment.
