Resume

One of the urgent problems of modern dermatology is rosacea, a multifactorial disease with a chronic recurrent course that mainly affects the skin of the face. This article presents the author's own research on the study of morphological changes in the skin in rosacea, depending on the stage of the disease. According to the literature, rosacea refers to angioneuroses caused by the development of functional insufficiency of peripheral circulation due to impaired vascular innervation, reflex spasm of arterioles, and decreased venous tone. A number of researchers have identified morphological changes in the vascular endothelium and microcirculation disorders in the skin of rosacea patients.

Key words: rosacea, provoking factors, histology, morphometric changes, stages of rosacea.
