Resume

This paper presents the results of a study on the use of the iridological method in forensic medical activities to identify the danger of suicidal behavior. The relationship between characteristic modifications of the iris and the psychoemotional state that contributes to suicidal tendencies is considered. A mathematical scheme for assessing the threat of suicide based on iridological indicators, as well as software for automated analysis of iridograms, has been developed. The data obtained indicate the possibility of introducing iridological diagnostics into a comprehensive forensic medical assessment of suicide cases, which can help strengthen preventive measures for high-risk groups.
