CLINICAL, RADIOLOGICAL, AND NEUROPHYSIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF KNEE JOINT CONTRACTURE IN CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY

Resume

This article analyzes surgical and conservative treatment methods for knee joint contractures in children with cerebral palsy. The study evaluated the morphofunctional characteristics of contractures in different age groups and their clinical manifestations. The effectiveness of surgical versus conservative treatment, recovery dynamics, and complication rates were compared. The results indicate that conservative therapy is more effective at early stages of the disease, while surgical intervention is preferable in severe and advanced cases.

Keywords: cerebral palsy, children, knee joint, contracture, surgical treatment, conservative treatment, rehabilitation.
