Resume

After 3, 6 months after the treatment of thyroid gland in dynamics in patients with a delay of puberty and iodine deficiency illness (DP + YDI), a reliable improvement in hormonal indicators was observed, namely the mean values of TSH, free T4 (P <0.005) .If growth rate in patients DP + YDI before treatment was 3.3 ± 0.2 cm / year, after 6 months of treatment with thyroid glands, averaged 6.4 ± 0.3 cm / year (6.5-9.8 cm / year ), and an absolute increase in growth in 6 months averages amounted to: 8.4 ± 0.4 cm. Thus, on the basis of a study, it can be concluded that therapy of thyroid glands in patients with DP + YDI helps a reliable improvement of both hormonal, so and anthropometric indicators, which confirms the need for the primary prevention of  YDI  among children and adolescents.
