MODERN STRATEGIES FOR MEDICAL COMPORTANCE OF PREGNANCY IN PATIENTS WITH DISTRIBUTED SCLEROSIS

Resume
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the most common chronic demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, affecting primarily young people. Management of pregnancy in patients with RS is of particular medical and social importance, as the disease manifests itself during the most active reproductive period of a woman's life - at the age of 20-40. For a long time, multiple sclerosis pregnancy was considered unwanted and potentially dangerous for both mother and fetus. These ideas were based on assumptions about the negative impact of the gestational process on the course of the demyelinating disease and the high risk of pathology transmission to offspring. However, the results of major prospective studies in the last two decades have fundamentally changed the understanding of the relationship between RS and pregnancy.
Keywords: multiple sclerosis, pregnancy, immunomodulatory therapy, exacerbation, postpartum period.
