Resume

This article analyzes the composition of energy drinks, their effects on the central nervous system and the cardiovascular system, as well as the potential long-term medical risks associated with their consumption. Based on a review of the literature, it discusses the physiological mechanisms of caffeine, sugar, taurine, and herbal extracts. Commonly observed clinical manifestations (tachycardia, arrhythmias, elevated blood pressure) are examined, along with less frequent but serious consequences (sudden cardiac arrest, hepatotoxic reactions, renal damage). The conclusions and recommendations provide practical guidance for healthcare professionals and policymakers in the field of public health.
