Resume
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrine disorders among women of reproductive age, often associated with anovulation and infertility. This study aimed to analyze the hormonal and biochemical composition of follicular fluid in women with PCOS and to identify correlations between these parameters and oocyte quality during in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures. The findings demonstrated increased levels of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), testosterone, and malondialdehyde (MDA)—a marker of oxidative stress—in PCOS patients, along with decreased antioxidant activity (AOA). These alterations were correlated with reduced morphological quality of oocytes and lower fertilization success rates. The parameters of follicular fluid may serve as prognostic biomarkers for IVF outcomes in women with PCOS.
