Resume
Endometriotic ovarian cysts are the most commonly diagnosed manifestation of endometriosis, with a recurrence rate ranging from 12% to 30% within 2–5 years after adequate removal. Their comprehensive assessment can help predict the course of the disease and improve the effectiveness of its prevention. This study presents an analysis of the literature and a review of modern approaches to the treatment of endometriotic ovarian cysts, focusing on the preservation and restoration of fertility. Special attention is given to the effectiveness of assisted reproductive technologies in patients after treatment of endometriomas using various methods.
Keywords: endometriotic cyst, recurrence, risk factors, ovarian reserve, infertility, in vitro fertilization, prevention.
