Resume

This study investigates histomorphometric and microcirculatory changes in the thyroid gland of white laboratory rats under magnesium, iron, selenium, and zinc deficiency. Morphometric analysis revealed a decrease in gland mass, follicular and capillary diameters, and an increase in intervascular distance and stromal proportion. The most pronounced changes were observed under magnesium deficiency. The findings confirm the crucial role of trace element balance in maintaining the morphological integrity and functional stability of the endocrine system.
