COMPARATIVE CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF THE MEDICINAL PLANTS SILYBUM MARIANUM AND CURCUMA LONGA

Resume

The article presents a comparative analysis of the biologically active substances of the plants Silybum marianum and turmeric, mechanisms of hepatoprotective, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action, as well as their clinical application. It was shown that both plants are effective in restoring liver function, reducing oxidative stress and symptoms of metabolic syndrome.
