Resume
A topological model is presented within the framework of the approach of the theory of catastrophes, designed to predict the spread of infectious diseases. Two approaches to the implementation of such modeling are described, using, on the one hand, data on the dynamics of the epidemic, and, on the other hand, catastrophe flags and the concept of control parameters, the change of which can regulate the nature of the dynamics of the epidemic.
