CLINICAL FEATURES OF LIVER DAMAGE IN COVID-19
Oblokulov A.R. Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino
Resume
The ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic poses a major threat to health systems worldwide. There is still little information on how infection affects to the liver, and on the significance of pre-existing liver disease as a risk factor for infection or severe disease. In addition, considerations regarding liver transplant patients, patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, or those on immunosuppressive therapy are being analyzed as information is collected.
Key words: COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, liver, cytokine storm, C-reactive protein, D-dimer.
