Resume,
For this research, patients aged 19-67 and suffering from suppurated acute otitis media were taken. They received a hospital treatment. All of these patients complained about suppuration from ears, earache and hearing problems. In addition to these problems, they also had other complaints: ear congestion (33.4%), noise in ears (26.2%) autophonia (9-5%), ear itching (4.8%). During otoscopy, perforation was located in different parts of the tympanic membrane. Dot perforation was detected in the center of the tympanic membrane perforation in six patients. The radiography of the mastoid process in almost all patients was determined as being “veiled”.
Key words: suppurative acute otitis media, clinical procedure, specificity.
